The photo quality is terrible and I'll password protect this tomorrow, but I couldn't resist sharing Puppy's absolute joy at the fireworks show Sunday night. Oh, to be four years old again.
@Meg - I did it myself. Flat twists in the front and box twists in the back. The beads aren't hard at all, especially using a beader and snaps on the ends. I try to be careful not to put them on too often or to weigh her hair down too much, since she's still young and her hair is growing in. But without them, box braids/twists point every which way on her. And she looooooves shaking them around.

It looks like you guys had fun!
So sweet. :)
Those are really cute photos. I love the uninhibited excitement that small kids can show. I think Firefly looks composed, very thoughtful.
oh that look in his face is priceless. and she looks so contemplative, content with her juice box. adorable!
What fabulous moments, Heather!
ack! I've lost your password! Pretty please?
Wow, Puppy's photo just captures the innocent excitement of childhood, doesn't it? And Firefly is so sweet, especially with her patriotic braids!
Love the calm, contented look on Firefly's face.
Did you do the beads and braids yourself? QL is so excited to have beads in her hair. We haven't done it yet.
