Flat twists in the front and box twists in the back. The beads aren&#39;t hard at all, especially using a beader and snaps on the ends. I try to be careful not to put them on too often or to weigh her hair down too much, since she&#39;s still young and her hair is growing in. But without them, box braids/twists point every which way on her.
