So I'm noodling through Etsy tonight, trying to find a hairbow for Firefly to wear with her Christmas dress. Something tasteful and a little bit dressy.
Maybe something like this?
(I don't want to link to the listing, but it's real and could be yours for only $10!)

let me just say living in the south, that is Sooooooo common. It seems little girls down here compete for the largest hair bow.
You're never fully dressed without a -- headsized hairbow.
hm....could work, but I don't know....I'm just looking for something, a little...what's the word? Bigger. :)
(And I swear, it's not just the south! I've seen some HUGE bows out here in SoCal! Little divas, all of them!)
LOVE IT. Whenever I see babies and toddlers with huge bows, I'm tempted to say to their parents, "Your son is such a cutie! What's that--he's a GIRL?" I'm a jerk like that.
I actually like cute bows...but this one is crazy!
If you are still looking I've had good luck with bows from two different sites:
http://www.bloomingbows.com/
http://www.thebowlady.com/
or if flowers are your thing:
http://chloereese.com/
@desi - That second site might have just what I needed!
I'm glad I could help. I hope you find what you're looking for.:)
Small bow complex plagues many young girls and can be devastating to their self esteem. The only cure is to attach the largest bow you can find to their head. Only then can they hold their head high with pride. (Metaphorically speaking of course because they can't actually lift their head under the weight of the bow.)
