(When did he start calling me "mom"? He's only four! At least Firefly still thinks of me as Mama. I'm not sure I'm ready to be Mom all the time.)
It's a kick to be able to actually talk with him and get a glimpse into his thoughts. When he was still a baby, I remember being almost melancholy at the thought that he would grow into boyhood. He was my perfect widdle baybee and I couldn't imagine that it could possibly get any better than it was at that stage. But it did. It really did. And it will again.

Cute! Cute! Cute! We had a baby shower yesterday for a dear friend who just had twins. Bug and I were going while Daddy and Si went and did something else fun. Si was so upset he couldn't go becaue "I want to give the babies a shower Momma" (and yes, he still calls me that but I don't think for long!). He thought they were going to get all wet. So funny. Love our littles.
And those are some sweet pies! I hope the shower was a great time!

Love the little cup pies. What's your trick for getting them out of the cups without breaking them?
@Meredith - I was worried about getting them out, too, but they slid right out without any problem. They're surprisingly sturdy. You can carry them around and eat them like you would a cupcake!
