Vintage

Behold Puppy's favorite-est thing in the whole wide world (at least for the moment):

I showed it to him the day before yesterday while goofing around before bedtime. Tonight T carried Puppy down from the bath asking, "Can you figure out what he's saying?"

Mahna mahna doo doo doo doo doo...

So we watched it again--and again and again. I tried clicking on other Muppets clips, but Puppy chirped, "Bye bye!" with a little wave as soon as they started. So it was back to the fluffy pink twins.

Mahna mahna doo doo doo doo doo...

I dare you to watch it and not get it stuck in your head.

I won't watch it and you can't make me, lol! Isn't it fun when our kids discover stuff we loved as kids? Or maybe you're too young for that... I am an old broad trying to "look like" a young mom! (Pushing 40 is better than pushing daisies I guess!) So maybe this isn't from your era? Since you did call it vintage?? LOL!

And no I won't watch it as I have troubles of my own... like "I love my Lips" from VeggieTales... now there is a song that never ends!

I love it when our kiddos discover something they enjoy!

Have you tried the Wiggles??

LOL! :) Nicholas called bananas "manamanas" for the longest time. Josh and I sing this song constantly. :)

That skit is on season 1 of The Muppet Show on DVD. That song is also on my iPod.

The muppets are ALWAYS a source of child/parent entertainment in my house!

Do you like "The Office"?

This is a scene from the British version where the office workers sing this song :)

Thanks for that, Heather! I just spent 20 minutes of quality snuggle time with Woob as he reclined back on me and we watched this over and over before bed. He LOVED it. We MUST purchase some muppets DVDs

Yay! My beau showed this video to me when we first started dating and we sing it all the time! It became our way of stating our affection for each other.

My kids always thought it was saying, "Banana Nut" instead of Mahna Mahna. I guess they must have food on the brain.

My favorite radio station made this their theme song for a month. I was traumatized for much longer than that. And yet, I still clicked it and listened. LOL thank you so much!
