I Was a Campfire Girl

So I'm not selling anyone out to tell you about these...

Baking Bites is now my favorite cooking site ever, for no other reason than that they developed recipes for all the best Girl Scout cookies. Do you realize what this means? I can have Girl Scout cookies any time I want. Only without the hydrogenated fat.

  2. Peanut Butter Patties!!! I am so happy. This is like when I finally worked out how to make a completely home-made tuna casserole--my childhood soul food. No more campbells cream of mushroom soup, no more canned mushroom caps, sustainably fished tuna (I also leave out the green peppers, but that's just cuz I always hated them).

That was a great day. This is a great day.

  5. I ordered some from a friend (I am a Rainbow - pre-Brownies - leader so I can't really get away with it) and the leaflet now says "no trans fats" in most of them, so I picked ones that said that.

I did see the Baking Bites recipes though which look lovely.

  8. I'm equal parts thrilled and terrified. Samoas at my fingertips? So, so bad. And yet so good.
